Cárdenas Statement on Terrorist Attack in Kabul
WASHINGTON, D.C — Congressman Tony Cárdenas (CA-29) released the following statement on the terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan today, which killed and wounded U.S. servicemembers:
“I join all Americans in condemning the horrific loss of life in today's terrorist attack at Kabul Airport.
“Norma and I send our deepest condolences to the families of the 12 U.S. servicemembers killed. Their bravery and heroism will never be forgotten.
“As we pray for the safety of troops on the ground, my office and I continue to work around the clock to get American citizens and their loved ones out of Afghanistan. We urge anyone in the San Fernando Valley who needs assistance with cases pertaining to the ongoing evacuation efforts to contact our office at (818) 221-3718.”
