CÁRDENAS HOSTS ANNUAL VETERANS DAY FORUM
SAN FERNANDO VALLEY - - Congressman Tony Cárdenas (D-San Fernando Valley) will host the annual Veterans Day Forum on November 11, 2016 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The Forum will take place at the Richard E. Byrd Middle School Multipurpose Room, in Sun Valley, California. Congressman Cárdenas will be joined by California State Senator Bob Hertzberg, Los Angeles City Councilwoman Nury Martinez, and LAUSD School Boardmember Mónica Ratliff.
“Far too often, the care and assistance that we offer our Veterans pales in comparison to the astounding sacrifice they made for our country as servicemembers,” said Congressman Cárdenas. “Throughout my tenure as an elected official, I have strived to honor these men and women in every way that I can. The Veterans Day Forum is an opportunity for the community in the San Fernando Valley and beyond to draw attention to the needs of our Veteran neighbors and family members and together honor them.”
