ICYMI: Cárdenas Presents $1.65 million to Northeast Valley Health Corporation at their Grand-Opening of their Women’s and Reproductive Health Center

SAN FERNANDO VALLEY – Yesterday, Congressman Tony Cárdenas (CA-29) announced $1.65 million in Community Project Funding to the Northeast Valley Health Corporation in Van Nuys, to implement new and automated patient engagement solutions, that will help monitor and improve health outcomes by connecting with patients through electronic health records. Thisproject aims to increase technological capacity in efforts to improve access to care for low-income, predominately Latino patients.

For decades, Northeast Valley Health Corporation has been at the forefront of healthcare innovation, dedicated to enhancing the lives of countless residents of the San Fernando valley. The Van Nuys Women's and Reproductive Health Center is yet another testament to the organization's commitment to addressing the unique healthcare needs of women in the community.

Congressman Cárdenas' longtime commitment to investing in the San Fernando Valley continues through Community Project Funding. At a time when accessing reproductive healthcare is increasingly difficult, many women will benefit from the opening of this women's health center and improved access to medical professionals. 

Congressman Cárdenas' continued support has been instrumental in enabling NEVHC to deliver essential services to those who need it most. His recognition of the critical role health centers play in the community's well-being is evident through his tireless efforts in securing this substantial federal funding opportunity.

These new digital resources will improve access to care for the working-class members of our community. These funds will enable NEVHC to bolster its efforts and expand the delivery of vital healthcare services, ensuring that no one is left behind in these challenging times.
