Statement from Congressman Cárdenas on new Energy & Commerce Committee assignments

I am proud to announce that for the next two years I will serve the American people through the Subcommittees on Health, Communications & Technology, and Consumer Protection & Commerce on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce in the 116^th Congress.

I congratulate and look forward to working with the Chairmen and Chairwomen to hold the Trump Administration accountable and pass legislation that will supercharge our economy, protect consumers and improve the health of our people and our planet.   

I am eager to get to work on the important legislation that comes through the Energy and Commerce Committee that will improve the lives of the great people of the California’s 29th district.
